Who Robs a banksy?

I developed, produced, wrote and edited this 6 part investigative documentary series in partnership with Podimo UK. The show had over 100,000 downloads within it’s first month and was nominated for Best Arts & Culture Podcast at the 2023 British Podcast Awards.

The show follows the true story of the man who kidnapped a Banksy statue in broad daylight from the middle of central London, and held it to ransom. As well as getting to the bottom of what actually happened, the story takes us through subversive sub-cultures in the UK, from football hooliganism to the illegal rave scene, and asks tough questions of the art establishment and class in Britain.
