Lotfia El-Nadi

This week's episode was all about the amazing Lotfia El-Nadi, the first egyptian woman to earn her pilot's license. Not only that, but she was also the 2nd woman ever to complete the plane trip between Cairo and Alexandria, beaten only by Amelia Earhart.

Rani Lakshmibai

Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi, was an integral part of the Indian fight for independence. Despite being a pro-British Queen for much of her reign, Lakshmibai eventually came around to the benefits of an independent India, and immediately set about using her power to fight against colonialist troops.

2018 Review
